Race 3 of the Budget Marine HighTide Series
Thursday the 22nd December dawned with torrential rain but by the time of the start the weather was much improved and we had easterly winds at 15-20 knots.
We had the same 5 boats from Sunday Cricket, Regardless, Biwi Magic, Valient, and Hightide. Two other boats joined in, Sleeper and Miss Tangfog.
Biwi Magic had a perfect start, followed closely by all the others. From there, the yachts went out of the harbour, racing between English Harbour and Rendezvous Bay and back to the finish. Conditions were good, although there was still quite a sea running from the previous days high winds.
All then retreated to Bar-Bs for a post race mini daily prize giving.
