The Trans Antigua Hike and Bike Challenge (23. 5 Miles/ 37 Kilometers) took place on Sunday 13th June and started from Halfmoon Bay and ended in Fryes Bay. Fifteen sailors and supporters represented the AYC Team from 10 year old Tyden Jones to Dinghy Manager Karl James.
Summary of the results from Team AYC (Hikers)
There were 35 Hikers overall
Karl James placed 1st overall with a time of 4 hrs and 21 Minutes
Shanoy Malone placed 2nd Overall with a time of 4 hrs and 45 minutes
In the male hikers 14 – 25 years, Shanoy Malone placed 1st, Tyrique Adams placed 2nd, Ozani Lafond placed 3rd
In the male hikers 26 – 45, Odea Solan placed 1st
In the male hikers 46 + Karl placed 1st
In the female hikers 46 + Kirsty Knoblauch placed 2nd
In the female hikers 14- 25 years, Emily Gaillard placed 1st

The first Road Runners cycling club Trans-Antigua Bike and Hike Challenge was an awesome event.
