Dear AYC members.
It has become necessary to update and strengthen our regulations concerning the use of the club car parks. This is due to both misuse of the car parks and regular damage to the main car park barrier caused by members and unauthorised users attempting to crash the gate.
The AYC board has installed security cameras to monitor the use of the car park and other areas of the club.
In particularly it is highlighted that the use of the car park is a privilege of membership for the private use of members enjoying the club facilities. The use by guests, associates and clients is not permitted.
The upper car park behind the events centre is reserved for members on club business and restricted to a maximum stay of 3 hours per day.
We can no longer offer free use of the car park to commercial vehicles servicing clients on the marina dock. This also includes members who operate commercial businesses. An annual commercial car park pass may be purchased from the club office for US$500/year (plus ABST).
Members are requested to display their club car park sticker visibly in their car windscreens. Stickers and gate clickers may be obtained from the club office (for an appropriate fee).
Cars and vehicles not complying with these regulations will be reported to the club office. Members who consistently disregard these regulations will have their car park privilege withdrawn and be subject to the club’s disciplinary procedures. They will also be asked to pay for any damage incurred. The Board will also take appropriate action against any non members who abuse the car park.
Any gate barrier clickers associated with members who have not renewed their 2024 membership by the end of March will be deactivated.

Yours respectfully.
