NOTICE OF RACE
5thANTIGUA optimist OPEN
Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th March, 2023
The Antigua Yacht Club is hosting the 5th Antigua Optimist Open.
RULES: Racing will be governed by the 2021-2024 World Sailing Racing Rules, the Optimist Class Rules, the prescription of the race committee and by the sailing instructions.

The Entry Fee includes lunch on Saturday.
Early Bird Entry Fee – US$50/EC$135.00
Early Bird Payment should be submitted by 4pm Wednesday 15th March 2023
The Entry Fee is – US$65/EC$175.00
Payment should be submitted by 4pm Wednesday 22nd March 2023
Members: We have a limited amount of Optimist available, if you would like to enter, please hand in your entry form with entry fee to reserve your Optimist.
EQUIPMENT: Non-members are asked to bring their own Optimist or they can charter a boat for US$70/EC$189 in addition to the entry fee.
If one has a preference in equipment, you are more than welcome to bring your own.
COURSE & NO. OF RACES: The races will be sailed in Falmouth Harbour and will be a Trapezoid or Windward/Leeward. The course will be given in the sailing instructions. There will be a maximum of 12 races with one discard.
PRIZES & SCORING: Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Scoring will be in accordance with Appendix A.
