AS OF WEDNESDAY 19th FEBRUARY THE AYC MEMBERS CAR PARK WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL BUT PERMITTED AND ESSENTIAL TRAFFIC UNTIL SUNDAY 1st MARCH
GENERAL INFORMATION
Approx 74 boats have registered to take part in this years event ( We started with 23 boats 12 yrs ago !)
The event is made possible largely due to the 15 + members and non members who make up the start and finish teams
The 40 + members and non members who meet and greet every finisher day and night at our 4 marinas.
Also the numerous members who make up the safety team, the measure’s team and those on the water at the start of the race.
Plus the ABSAR team who met every finisher.
The event is now one of the Royal Ocean Racing Clubs most successful races.
THE START of this years race is from 11.00 on wards on MONDAY 24 th
WELCOME PARTY – invitation only – is on the 22nd. OPEN to all from 8.30. 1761 playing until 11.00 (approx )
PRIZE PRESENTATION FRIDAY 28th – open to all – Presentation at 7.00 (approx )
Steel band playing both before and after presentation
ASHER OTTO and I FEET playing from 9.00 to 11.45 ( approx )
